Education

I am currently a student at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute. I have been doing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program at Cameron since September 6, 2023.

On October 25, 2021, I became the first Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute student (and possibly in the entire school board) to start taking the Grade 10 Pre-IB Mathematics Course (MPM 2DW) in Grade 9. This was done by passing a Grade 9 Mathematics exam with a high score, leading to a joint agreement between the school's administrative and mathematics departments, the school board, and IB representatives that allowed me to advance to the Grade 10 course early. As a Grade 9 student, I achieved a score of 98%.

From September 6, 2022, to January 27, 2023, I took the Grade 12 Data Management Course (MDM 4UI) in Grade 10 due to a vacated position in my Grade 10 timetable due to taking the Grade 10 Mathematics Course early, as described earlier. As a Grade 10 student, I scored 98% in the course.

On April 7, 2023, I was accepted into the Program in Algorithmic and Computational Thinking (PACT), a summer program about theoretical computer science hosted at Princeton University from June 26 to July 28, 2023. It was taught by Dr. Rajiv Gandhi, a professor of Computer Science at Rutgers University-Camden and part-time lecturer from the University of Pennsylvania.

Upon completing the PACT Summer Program, I was invited to its year-round program, which is hosted virtually and again led by Dr. Gandhi.

On February 6, 2024, I was accepted to Harvard University's 7-week Summer School Program. I will be taking CSCI S-111, "Intensive Introduction to Computer Science"

In late January 2024, I was invited without application to participate in the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) for a term in Summer 2024, representing Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute, my school. Unfortunately, I had to decline this offer due to my acceptance to the Harvard Program.
