Swimming

I am a swimmer, who started at the age of 12 in September 2019. That is a relatively late start to the sport, and I was much slower than everyone else in my age group, so much so that I was two or three times slower than other competitors. However, I improved quickly and won the "most improved swimmer of the club" award in 2019 in my category (which for obvious reasons doesn't mean anything in terms of competitions, but is a good stepping stone to my future). In January 2023, I qualified for the WOSA Short Course Regional Championship scheduled for February 2023 and the WOSA Long Course Regional Championship scheduled for June 2023 in the 50m Fly with a time of 31.77 seconds.

I have competed in one championship event - the 2023 WOSA Short Course Regional Championship in February 2023.

I have represented the Region of Waterloo Swim Club (ROW) since 2023.
